Casa Feliz: Michelle and Brian

Every couple wants their wedding day to be special and personal to them. Michelle and Brian’s wedding at Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum was certainly one of the most original we’ve ever seen, and we have L.I.F.E. Events to thank for that.

The venue had been lovingly decorated for the outdoor ceremony, and Rhodes Studios meticulously captured every detail.

For the floral adorning the aisles, we opted for small, hanging arrangements of blush blooms placed in mason jars, for a rustic yet distinctive touch.

Michelle’s bridal bouquet had been carefully chosen to stand out against her dress, without straying far from the pastel theme. Blush and cream hydrangeas, garden roses, lisianthus, freesia, ranunculus and tulips made a unique and beautiful bouquet. Brian’s white boutonniere, in contrast, was simple and stood out against his dark coat.

The beautiful outdoor tent reception was all the more striking because of little touches like the lantern centerpieces, which we highlighted with wreaths, the tiny place card holders, or the delicious ice cream sandwiches from Midnight Sun’s food truck.

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel: Whitney and Thomas

There is always something inherently beautiful about weddings, but few have the innocence and fun nature of Whitney and Thomas’s wedding at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. McKenzie Stewart Weddings did a wonderful job capturing every smile and blush.

The event, expertly coordinated by Leanna McDonald of Just Marry!, went off without a hitch. Floral columns placed along the aisles gave the outdoor ceremony a fairytale-like feel, making the moment when the couple happily said their I Do’s even more beautiful.

Whitney looked just like a princess in her lovely dress and veil, and for her, we crafted a gorgeous, albeit simple, bridal bouquet of white peonies. It was just what she wanted, and it made for a stunning sight in all her photos.

As the evening began, so did Whitney and Thomas’s fun-filled reception. Keeping the blush and white theme in mind, we arranged for white and blush-toned blooms to rest atop the tables, complementing the blush linens and gold cutlery perfectly.

After a delicious dinner, guests indulged in the decadent cake created by the hotel’s talented chefs. We love the decision to keep the cake naked, drawing the focus to the white peonies and that little touch of greenery. The cake, like the rest of the event, was the picture of innocent, simple beauty, and that made it all the more noteworthy.

Guests ushered Whitney and Thomas into their new life together with a sparkler exit, but even the sparklers seem dim in comparison to the dazzling smiles on the couple’s faces. Congratulations, Whitney and Thomas! We wish you nothing but the best from this point onward, and we’d like to thank these amazing vendors for coming together to make your big day so special:
