We took a trip down to Ferngully for Elizabeth and Boyd’s wedding at the Ritz Carlton Orlando, and we loved every moment of it! Lisa Stoner Events went above and beyond for the planning of this event, and it showed in every detail, each beautifully captured by Jensen Larson Photography.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had this much fun with the flowers at a wedding. To go along with the Ferngully theme, we kept the flowers big, plentiful, and colorful. Boyd looked extremely handsome, choosing to complement his navy tuxedo with an orchid boutonniere that matched Elizabeth’s bouquet. Elizabeth looked gorgeous and free, the purple flowers in her curls and the colorful orchids in her bouquet striking against her pure white strapless gown and long veil. The black tuxedos and blush gowns donned by the groomsmen and bridesmaids were perfect for balancing out the pops of color throughout the florals and décor.
The flower girls carried unique floral baskets, carefully crafted to go with the theme. Grand lanterns adorned the aisles as they walked past, providing an aura of earthy warmth. Elizabeth and Boyd said their I Do’s beneath a lush floral arch, surrounded by their loved ones and tiny lights. The venue glowed; the lighting by FyerFly Productions had a big part in bringing Ferngully to life.
The reception décor was magical, to say the last. The chic drapes from Swag Décor, the candles scattered across the tables, and the fantastic cake topped with fresh flowers all came together to create one memorable evening.
