Lindsay and Chris were wed at the beautiful, historic Casa Feliz in Winter Park, Florida. Bash Event Design coordinated all the details, and Stephanie A. Smith Photography was there to photograph the entire celebration.
We created beautiful monochromatic bouquets for the bride and her maids. Lindsay carried an all-white, hand-wrapped bouquet packed full of roses and hydrangea. By not including greenery in the bouquet, the look was dense and rich. Silvery, soft gray dusty miller was used to soften the base of both the bridal and bridesmaids’ bouquets.
Similarly to Lindsay’s bouquet, we used a variety of floral all in one hue for the bridesmaids. Various shades of purple, ranging from lilac to plum, created a dramatic impression. We wrapped the bouquets in satiny bright purple ribbon.
Chris’s boutonniere, a pristine white rose bud with a base of dusty miller, matched his bride’s bouquet perfectly.
Tufts of white floral accented the chairs at their outdoor ceremony. Lindsay and Chris said their vows between two tall arrangements of white floral in white urns.
At the reception, the décor was simple and understated. Since the reception was after dark, the focus was on the lighting: soft candlelight on the tables and market lights strung overhead. Tufts of baby’s breath surrounded the lanterns and candles. The purple bridesmaids bouquets were placed in vases to provide a pop of color on the head table.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. McGrath! May you have a wonderful life together.
