Backyard New Year’s Eve Wedding

New Year’s Eve is always special, and there’s no better way to ring in the New Year than with a wedding! Kate and Josh are such a sweet couple, and their New Year’s Eve wedding will tug at our heartstrings for years to come!

Team James had the pleasure of designing the floral for Kate’s sister’s wedding a year ago, and it was an honor to be called back for another Devine wedding! Kate’s parents’ backyard made the ideal venue for such a beautiful day, with Weddings Unique bringing every detail together flawlessly, while Kristen Weaver worked magic with her camera lens, as usual!

The blush and white color scheme was soft in its elegance, allowing us to create the most lovely and romantic arrangements. The entire space had a backyard garden wedding atmosphere in the late afternoon, transitioning to an ethereal atmosphere during the nighttime ceremony with fairy lights gently lighting the night sky.

Kate made a stunning bride as she walked down the aisle, wearing a big smile and a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown as she carried her lush bridal bouquet. We lovingly created her bouquet with blush hydrangea, white peonies, and champagne roses throughout, with ranunculus blooms and blush rice floral. Dusty miller and clusters of seeded eucalyptus and Italian ruscus made for an elegant finish.

Kate’s bridesmaids looked stylish and beautiful, dressed in an assortment of beautiful gowns for a Gatsby-inspired touch. Their bouquets were truly striking against their gowns, crafted with blush hydrangea blooms with open cream and champagne roses throughout.

The floral throughout the ceremony was created with Kate’s vision in mind: magnolia foliage woven into stunning garlands accented with baby’s breath. Everything came together for a truly breathtaking ceremony at this New Year’s Eve wedding!

Joshua looked so proud and overjoyed throughout the entire day, and it was little wonder why! They made the most adorable couple, and it was a beautiful sight to see two souls so in love with one another.

Pretty soon, it was time to celebrate the newlyweds at the reception. Every detail was beautiful, with lovely white wooden round tables draped with stunning blush lace, topped with assorted gold mercury vessels holding lush arrangements created to match the bridesmaids’ bouquets.

All too soon, the evening came to an end, and it was time to bid our newlyweds farewell. Congratulations again, Kate and Joshua! Designing the floral for your New Year’s Eve wedding was an honor, and we wish you a long, happy life together!

Blush and Gold Wedding at the Reunion Resort

Every wedding is special, but Christina and Joseph’s Blush and Gold Wedding at the Reunion Resort was double the fun! This wedding was an absolutely stunning two-day event, expertly planned by Blush by Brandee Gaar, with every special moment and detail brilliantly captured by Bow Tie Photo.

The ceremony at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Celebration was simple, but memorable.

Christina looked so beautiful as she walked down the aisle, wearing a stunning gown with lace touches, her hair in a sophisticated updo. Of course, her bouquet had to be just as elegant to match! We created her beautiful bouquet with white hydrangea, accented throughout with open pink and white O’Hara garden roses, and cream and champagne roses. Soft touches of Italian ruscus and some seeded eucalyptus greenery for texture completed the arrangement.

For Joseph, we crafted his boutonniere with simplicity and elegance in mind, using a white ranunculus to complement his bride’s beautiful gown. It was just so heartwarming to see Christina and Joseph stand together throughout the ceremony; they made such a beautiful couple!

All eyes were on our couple, but the bridesmaids and groomsmen made quite a style statement as well! The bridesmaids wore the most lovely pale blush gowns, their bouquets created to match with blush ranunculus. The groomsmen donned matching boutonnieres of pink ranunculus.

As beautiful as the ceremony was, the reception at Reunion Resort was truly breathtaking! Shimmery golden linens added a regal look to the tables, perfectly paired with tall glass bell vases. They towered high with lush bouquets of hydrangea blooms, open cream and blush pink roses throughout, with beautiful white orchids spilling out. We even added accents of Italian Ruscus for color and texture. It all came together flawlessly, with everything a perfect fit for Christina and Joseph’s sweet and elegant natures. This Blush and Gold Wedding at Reunion Resort really was unforgettable!

After two days of laughter, happy tears, and memory-making, it was finally time to say goodbye to our newlyweds as they began the next chapter of their journey together. Congratulations again, Christina and Joseph! We wish you all the happiness in the world! Cassidee and Rene celebrated their gorgeous holiday wedding at Reunion Resort and we were thrilled to create the floral designs for their dazzling and romantic day. Blush by Brandee Gaar did it again by planning and coordinating a simply stunning event for the wedding party and guests alike to enjoy. William Arthur Photography beautifully captured all the details of the intimate affair.

We love how the bride chose a simple yet dramatic color scheme for her big day. Cassidee carried a striking bouquet of all purple and white Picasso Calla Lilies, which popped against her white, lace embroidered gown. Rene donned a single white Cala Lily boutonniere to match his bride’s bouquet. Inside, the reception warmly welcomed guests with flickering candles and romantic dimmed lighting by Soundwave Entertainment. For the centerpieces, we designed arrangements of hydrangeas, white roses, violet tulips, and Calla Lilies to create texture and dimension with their lush and rich tones.

The soiree was filled with opulence and decadence. Guests enjoyed a champagne toast to start the night, and later were able to treat their sweet tooth cravings with a delectable buttercream cake.  Party Flavors Custom Cakes designed the two-tier confection with intricate floral detail piping, adorned with an oversized deep purple fondant bow, cascading down the tiers. Bride and groom “love birds” perched adorably as a cake topper.

Ritz Carlton Orlando: Julie and David

When he proposed under the 4th of July fireworks, David and Julie both knew they wanted to incorporate that night into their wedding day. As the sunset overlooked the water at Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes, the couple exchanged vows and said “I Do.” Blush by Brandee Gaar  planned a spectacular event accented by navy blue, orange, and silver, and Kristen Weaver Photography captured the entire soiree from sun up, to sun down.

We loved creating a bridal bouquet that popped with color against Julie’s white, flowing gown. We mixed peach and pink roses with orange lilies, and added fresh succulents for a modern feel. For the bridesmaid we kept it classic with all white bouquets of roses, hydrangeas and mini succulents. The outdoor ceremony was magical! We loved how the center aisle, scattered in peach and cream rose petals, led the way to her groom at the front of the alter. After their first kiss as husband and wife, a showering of fireworks lit up the night’s sky over the lake–just as it did on their proposal night.

Chalk Shop created a beautiful mirrored sign etching out the night’s events. The mood inside the reception was set to party. Cafe lights from Kaleidoscope Event Lighting and Design were strung across the ceiling while silver plated tree centerpieces took the spotlight. We loved incorporating arrangements and clusters of orange roses and lilies through the branches. And because we leave no stone unturned, the bottom was covered in a layer of moss and finished with frosted candle votives and succulent buds. The party raged on into the evening as The Leonard Brothers cranked out the tunes and guests danced the night away.

We had a blast working with Julie and David and all the vendors to create this one-of-a-kind, fun and enchanting wedding. Cheers to a lifetime of fireworks for the happy couple!

Bella Collina: “A Night of Wedding Bliss” Luxe Gala

We were truly honored to be a part of Bella Collina‘s recent event, “A Night of Wedding Bliss.” The evening was devoted to wedding luxury in all its facets. All of the wedding venues of Bella Collina were decked out by some of the finest wedding professionals in Central Florida. These photos by Concept Photography are just a taste of what we designed and doesn’t even showcase HALF of the beauty of the night that was created by our colleagues. Well done, everyone!

We worked with Blush by Brandee Gaar to outfit the small dining room with three very different looks on each of the long dining tables. Linens by Kirby Rental and decorative items by A Chair Affair really made our tables come to life.

On the central table, we created a dramatic floral table runner out of green hydrangea. Warm-toned hurricanes, lanterns, and votive holders glowed against the rich, glossy wooden table.

Another of our tables featured ornate metal lanterns and woven chargers for a garden feel. For our floral garland, we used a variety of pink and white blooms with plenty of greenery so that the look was natural and carefree.

Our third table was all about shimmer and shine. Glitter table runners set the stage for crystal candelabras, gold flatware, and glimmering chargers. Our floral pieces were tight and composed, with classic wedding favorites: white hydrangea and pink roses. A sweet rose was added as a special touch to each napkin.

Finally, we added the perfect floral touches to bring the naked cake by Two Sweets Bake Shop to life. Just like the rest of the room, we used pink floral and greenery that balanced between formal and casual.

Kelly and Amir had a beautiful wedding, starting with their ceremony atMarkham Woods Presbyterian Church and reception at Timacuan Golf Club. The couple decided to keep their decor simple, natural, and sophisticated. Their colors were white and green, with an accent of aqua bridesmaids’ dresses. 

 

We created a gorgeous bouquet for Kelly, full of soft white blooms and touches of green ferns for a natural look. Her maids carried similar bouquets, with the addition of bunches of green berries and green hydrangeas. For the ceremony, we made white and green floral arrangements for the altar, adding white hydrangea and white delphiniums for texture.

At the reception, we highlighted the height of the room and the stunning chandeliers with our tall floral centerpieces. Glass vessels were topped with white roses and hydrangeas with romantic trailing greenery. Curly willow branches were added to the vases for texture and interest. We added a few pristine white rose blooms to the classic white, four-tier cake byParty Flavors Custom Cakes, and encircled the base of the cake with the bridesmaids’ bouquets (a great idea if you are on a budget).

Ritz-Carlton Orlando: Julia and Dave

Julia and Dave had a magical wedding at the Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes. Coordinated by the extraordinary wedding planners at Blush by Brandee Gaar and photographed by Kristen Weaver Photography, their wedding day was full of gorgeous details.

The accent colors for the day were tones of peach, coral and orange. We created a coral rose boutonniere for Dave, adding succulent petals to coordinate with his bride’s bouquet. Julia’s bouquet was comprised mostly of a variety of roses in shades from blush pink to peach to coral. Bold orange lilies and green succulents provided contrast and added a modern accent.

 

For Julia’s bridesmaids, we kept the types of flowers similar to those in her bridal bouquet. To create a sophisticated look against their dark navy dresses, the roses and hydrangea were all shades of cream and white and tinges with soft green.

Julia and Dave’s ceremony took place outdoors at sunset. The aisle was lined with vessels of rose petals topped with pillar candles, and a beautiful bridal aisle was created with more peach and coral rose petals. The couple timed their vows perfectly so that fireworks went off right afterwards!

 

For the reception, we created custom silver trees dotted with clusters of orange floral. At the base of each arrangement was a bed of moss and succulents surrounded by candles.

Bella Collina: Amy and Brandon

Amy and Brandon, who live in Boston, had the ultimate fairytale wedding at Bella Collina. The couple was only able to come to Florida a couple of times before the wedding, so luckily they had the fantastic team planners at Blush by Brandee Gaar to help create the wedding of their dreams. Amy was inspired by classic love stories like Beauty and the Beast, and you can definitely tell in the floral and decor! The photographers from Concept Photography did a beautiful job taking these wedding moments and making them into artistic memories.

Amy’s bouquet was romantic: all roses in muted shades of cream, mauve, and pale blush pink. Near the wrapped stems, we used dusty miller and seeded eucalyptus for understated greenery. Her bridesmaids carried similar bouquets that also included bright pink roses, which are seen throughout the ceremony and reception decor.

The arbor for their ceremony was absolutely breathtaking! Clusters of pink and cream roses with trailing greenery were strewn about the iron arbor, creating an illusion of a private menagerie-like space for the couple to say their vows. We lined the aisles with pale pink roses affixed to chairs, and also created a rose-covered surround for the romantic chandelier that hung from the arbor.

 

The reception took place outdoors. The Tuscan elegance of the venue was highlighted by rustic farm tables and French country chairs from A Chair Affair. We enhanced the Old-World, European undertones with antique-looking vessels and candelabras overflowing with pink and white roses.
