Blush and Gold Wedding at the Reunion Resort

Every wedding is special, but Christina and Joseph’s Blush and Gold Wedding at the Reunion Resort was double the fun! This wedding was an absolutely stunning two-day event, expertly planned by Blush by Brandee Gaar, with every special moment and detail brilliantly captured by Bow Tie Photo.

The ceremony at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Celebration was simple, but memorable.

Christina looked so beautiful as she walked down the aisle, wearing a stunning gown with lace touches, her hair in a sophisticated updo. Of course, her bouquet had to be just as elegant to match! We created her beautiful bouquet with white hydrangea, accented throughout with open pink and white O’Hara garden roses, and cream and champagne roses. Soft touches of Italian ruscus and some seeded eucalyptus greenery for texture completed the arrangement.

For Joseph, we crafted his boutonniere with simplicity and elegance in mind, using a white ranunculus to complement his bride’s beautiful gown. It was just so heartwarming to see Christina and Joseph stand together throughout the ceremony; they made such a beautiful couple!

All eyes were on our couple, but the bridesmaids and groomsmen made quite a style statement as well! The bridesmaids wore the most lovely pale blush gowns, their bouquets created to match with blush ranunculus. The groomsmen donned matching boutonnieres of pink ranunculus.

As beautiful as the ceremony was, the reception at Reunion Resort was truly breathtaking! Shimmery golden linens added a regal look to the tables, perfectly paired with tall glass bell vases. They towered high with lush bouquets of hydrangea blooms, open cream and blush pink roses throughout, with beautiful white orchids spilling out. We even added accents of Italian Ruscus for color and texture. It all came together flawlessly, with everything a perfect fit for Christina and Joseph’s sweet and elegant natures. This Blush and Gold Wedding at Reunion Resort really was unforgettable!

After two days of laughter, happy tears, and memory-making, it was finally time to say goodbye to our newlyweds as they began the next chapter of their journey together. Every wedding is unique in its own way, but Shannon and Greg’s wedding at the Reunion Resort was truly memorable! The couple opted for a peacock theme, which Blush by Brandee Gaar coordinated perfectly!

 

Peacocks are beautiful, exotic creatures. Yet as a wedding theme, it could’ve been easily overdone. Fortunately, Shannon and Greg had the perfect vision in mind. For the most part, the couple stuck to neutral colors – including a classic white dress for Shannon and black dresses for the bridesmaids – while using the perfect peacock blue for a gorgeous pop of color.

 

Shannon made a stunning bride as she walked down the aisle. For her bridal bouquet, we designed a bouquet of white mini calla lilies and peacock feathers, creating the perfect complement to her white Ines Di Santo dress. The bridesmaid bouquets, meanwhile, were beautiful arrangements of blue hydrangeas, Picasso mini calla lilies, purple lisianthus, green cymbidium orchids and seeded eucalyptus.

 

 

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests danced the night away at their reception, feasted on a delicious (not to mention, beautiful) cake by Party Flavors, and ended the event with a magnificent fireworks show by Creative Pyrotechnics.

In the case of Lynsey and Craig’s Reunion Resort wedding, all that glitters is gold. The couple enlisted expert wedding planner Blush by Brandee Gaar to bring to life the black, gold, and blush inspired wedding.  Bumby Photography masterfully captured all the glamorous details of this stunning event.

The outdoor ceremony started with a soft, romantic palette for the exchanging of vows. Bride Lynsey, carried a lush bouquet of white and blush tone ranunculus, hydrangeas, garden roses, dahlias, and anemones. The brick-paved aisle was lined with delicate rose petals, as bunches of white hydrangeas tied with black satin ribbon dangled from the crisp white resin chairs.

Things got a little more dramatic for the cocktail hour and reception. Chalk Shop designed some seriously enviable custom signs for the swanky affair. We adorned these works of art with floral swag embellishments. Black and gold glamour and luxurious textures was the name of the game for the show-stopping reception. The sweetheart table dazzled in gold sequin linen from Over the Top Rental Linens, as our floral garland paired with the newlyweds personalized chalk art added even more pizzazz!

The guest tables were equally as stunning with floor length black linens, topped with a modern black and white striped table runner. No glitz and glam was spared in the making of these beautiful tablescapes! Pops of gold accented the atmosphere with chiavari chairs, table numbers, candle votives, and gold-beaded chargers. We loved creating varying heights of floral centerpieces to add dimension and visual interest to the space. The arrangements boasted full blooms of white hydrangeas, orchids, and vibrant shades of pink roses. Friends and family were encouraged to indulge their sweet treat cravings with a candy buffet from Sweet Bliss Candy Stations and a classic buttercream cake from Party Flavors Custom Cakes.

Cassidee and Rene celebrated their gorgeous holiday wedding at Reunion Resort and we were thrilled to create the floral designs for their dazzling and romantic day. Blush by Brandee Gaar did it again by planning and coordinating a simply stunning event for the wedding party and guests alike to enjoy. William Arthur Photography beautifully captured all the details of the intimate affair.

We love how the bride chose a simple yet dramatic color scheme for her big day. Cassidee carried a striking bouquet of all purple and white Picasso Calla Lilies, which popped against her white, lace embroidered gown. Rene donned a single white Cala Lily boutonniere to match his bride’s bouquet. Inside, the reception warmly welcomed guests with flickering candles and romantic dimmed lighting by Soundwave Entertainment. For the centerpieces, we designed arrangements of hydrangeas, white roses, violet tulips, and Calla Lilies to create texture and dimension with their lush and rich tones.

The soiree was filled with opulence and decadence. Guests enjoyed a champagne toast to start the night, and later were able to treat their sweet tooth cravings with a delectable buttercream cake.  Party Flavors Custom Cakes designed the two-tier confection with intricate floral detail piping, adorned with an oversized deep purple fondant bow, cascading down the tiers. Bride and groom “love birds” perched adorably as a cake topper.

Kristen and Jordan had a classic and simply romantic wedding at Reunion Resort in Orlando. Blush by Brandee Gaar coordinated a truly breathtaking event, with Justin DeMutiis there to capture every fabulous detail.

The happy couple decided on a soft color palette of blush, gold, pink, and white. The outdoor ceremony was a vision of relaxed, timeless refinement, while the lush green grass contrasted the rows of white resin chairs. Leaning against the outer most chair, framing the center aisle, were love poem quotes inscribed on rustic, wooden planks. The bride and groom read their vows under a dreamy archway draped in curly willows, white roses, hydrangeas, stock flower, and limonium.

At the reception, the newlyweds and their wedding party were seated at a head table of royal proportions. Dressed in creamy white linens, the table donned cascading arrangements of the same floral palette, flanked by dazzling candelabras and flickering metallic votives. Gold Chiavari chairs from Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals added the perfect touch of elegance. Party Flavors Custom Cakes created a cake almost too beautiful to eat! The amaretto and red velvet cake was covered in textured buttercream and edible pink roses. To get the party officially started, family and friends enjoyed music played by DJ Will Jackson. And once everyone was loosened up, Photo Booth Rocks provided guests and the newlyweds with the opportunity to capture the romantic, silly, and late night memories from the reception.

Brenda and Peter chose to visit Central Florida from Newfoundland for their destination wedding. The Reunion Resort was a gorgeous location with its tropical floral and palm trees for their special day with Andi Mans Photography in attendance capturing every picturesque moment.

For this classy destination wedding, we chose white floral arrangements for the ceremonial and reception centerpieces for their simplistic beauty. In terms of the bouquets, peach-toned roses popped against the royal blue and gray attire of the bridal party, coordinating the elegant feel of the celebration with its own twist. For the bridal bouquet, we paired white roses and lilies with white floral accents with the peach roses to give its own unique look to complement Brenda’s natural beauty.

As the ceremony drew to a close, the newly-minted newlyweds and their guests transitioned to the reception. Each of the tables was paired with our white floral centerpieces and royal blue linens, courtesy of BBJ Linen, with white chiavari chairs and decor to match from Orlando Wedding & Party Rentals. There was no shortage of entertainment with Scott Thompson from Thompson Entertainment on site, allowing Brenda and Peter to dance the night away with their loved ones in a luxurious paradise.

Reunion Resort: Orlando Perfect Wedding Guide Luncheon

Recently, we had the pleasure of being a part of the planning and design for the Orlando Perfect Wedding Guide Luncheon hosted at the Reunion Resort. Not only did we get the opportunity to socialize with our partners in the wedding industry, but we also were able to design a beautifully-executed event for all of us to enjoy good food and spend time together. The day was coordinated by the talented Blush by Brandee Gaar team with photographs documenting the special occasion by Rinat Halon Photography Communication.

The color palette of the day was shades of purple and gold, from the tent and table runners to the gorgeous purple and gold 3-tiered wedding cake. With that in mind, we stuck to centerpieces of whites, grays, and greens to complement the design. The arrangements added to the classical, yet lively atmosphere of the event.

Everyone had a grand time, enjoying the best the wedding world of Orlando has to offer and congratulating each other on their successes. This event was made possible by the venders who volunteered their services to make it one-of-a-kind:

How They Met: Through Anna’s brother

Wedding Style: Anna and Houston wove shades of mint and gold throughout their elegant Southern affair.

“I came across gold sequin dresses I fell in love with. Before I even asked my friends to be bridesmaids, I texted them asking for their dress sizes and ordered them immediately–praying they would all fit,” Anna says. “Thankfully they did, and they turned out gorgeous!”

 

Anna and Houston chose an all-white wedding cake finished with a cascade of sugar flowers and their monogram piped on the top tier. “It was delicious!” Anna says of the amaretto, marble and lemon confection. The bride wore a formfitting organza and lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and a crystal-embellished belt. “It was everything I wanted and more,” she says.

 

“I hate wearing heels, so I always knew I would wear flats,” says Anna. “My mother-in-law found me a pair of Kate Spade shoes with a blow on the toes that I loved!”

Congratulations to Renea and Chris! Their wedding at Reunion Resort was not only beautiful, but had plenty of fun personal touches! The planning extraordinaires at Blush by Brandee Gaar did a fabulous job producing the classy, Florida-themed affair. As you’ll see, the photos by Rhodes Studios really represent the joy of this couple’s big day.

 

For the ceremony, we decorated the aisle with pomanders of pastel floral and peachy-orange roses hanging from shepherds’ hooks. At the altar, the couple’s officiant from Sensational Ceremonies was flanked by two grand arrangements in white urns placed on white pedestals. The bride carried a romantic bouquet of white and pale pink roses, while her maids toted bouquets using the peach-orange roses seen throughout the floral decor.

 

At the reception, classically romantic decor was tempered by some fun touches! The gold chiavari chairs and beaded chargers from Orlando Wedding & Party Rentals plus our groupings of soft orange and pastel floral gave the room a traditional look. Plenty of votive candles and soft peach lighting by Soundwave Entertainment provided the perfect ambiance. The Krispy Kreme doughnut favors and specialized kids’ table, however, really showed guests that the couple have a fun-loving, down-to-earth side. As a final touch of romance, we added a sweeping cascade of fresh roses to the three-tier wedding cake by Party Flavors Custom Cakes. Just beautiful!

We were so glad to work on this wedding and wish Renea and Chris a lifetime of happiness together!

Anna and Houston said “I do” at First Baptist Church of Orlando in front of family and friends who were lucky enough to watch their love grow the old-fashioned way. Love, tradition and Southern hospitality were the key ingredients to this beautiful event. This couple’s compilation of love was all captured by Kristen Weaver Photography’s attentive eyes.

Amongst all the martial fuss the couple stole a moment to feel each other’s excitement. With the help of a door to allow for this special moment, the couple side-stepped any bad luck.

We proudly contributed the bouquets and centerpieces at this joyous occasion. The bride held a bouquet of white hydrangea and soft pink roses. The bridesmaids and reception centerpieces were accented with succulents that added a little exotic pop. At the reception, gold chivari chairs, chargers & flatware provided by A Chair Affair cast a warm glow to contrast with the aqua table linens by Over the Top.

For the reception, guests gathered at the Grande Ballroom at Reunion Resort where tradition held strong as they danced with their parents, cut the cake by Party Flavors Custom Cakes together, and shared their first dance.

Anna and Houston’s wedding was full of love that cast a warm loving glow. We wish the couple continued love and happiness for the many years to come.
