Lightner Museum: Fiorela and Colin

 

 

Fiorela and Colin had such a beautiful wedding! We absolutely loved the setting in historical St. Augustine. The ceremony took place at the traditional and ornate Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, and then the reception was held at the Lightner Museum. The amazing team at Blush by Brandee Gaar coordinated every detail and Andi Mans took so many fantastic photos that we had trouble choosing which ones to feature here!

 

Fiorela’s bouquet was the epitome of romance. Softly colored roses of peach, pink, and cream were accented by silvery-gray dusty miller and various buds and tendrils. Her maids carried petite versions of her bouquet, without the cascading greenery. The flower girl had her own cream rose bouquet and matching white and green wreath for her hair.

 

For the reception, we created a variety of low centerpieces. The flowers were consistent with the bouquets: mostly roses with accents of wildflowers, buds, and greenery. The head table had a long garland of vivid green leaves dotted with pinky-peach roses. Some of the centerpieces on the guest tables were also wrapped in moss. The overall look was traditional but fresh, and oozing with classic romance. Our roses and greenery also decorated the lovely cake by Party Flavors.

We wish Fiorela and Colin nothing but the best! Congratulations on your beautiful wedding and a beautiful start to your lives together.

Dana and Henry married at the The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes last month, and their wedding was an absolute stunner! Right on trend, the couple featured shades of rich purple as the focus of their decor. The planning team at An Affair to Remember did a great job pulling together all of the details, and Kristen Weaver Photography caught it all on film.

The ceremony space was draped in a romantic lilac fabric, courtesy of Swag Decor. Our tall white arrangements were placed in white urns on top of white columns with soft purple rose petals at their bases. A mirrored table from A Chair Affair added a glam touch. Dana’s bouquet was all purple, so we decided to contrast her bridesmaids’ bouquets to be all white flowers. Purple floral against Dana beautiful white gown and white floral against the bridesmaids’ deep purple dresses were the perfect pairings!

The reception was completely transformed into a regal purple ballroom, complete with silver and plum linens, silver chiavari chairs by A Chair Affair, stunning purple uplighting from Soundwave Entertainment, and our gorgeous white and purple centerpieces. We used white hydrangea, purple orchids, and touches of fern fronds for a romantic and modern look.

The fun and stylish couple incorporated their theme into their attire as well! Check out their amazing wedding shoes. The also let loose with their fabulous DJ from Soundwave Entertainment and personalized champagne bottle wedding favors.

This offbeat couple swirled their love of music, zombies, and vintage style into a casual, October ceremony on the grounds of Casa Feliz. The wonderful planners at Sweet Pea Brides coordinated the event which was captured by The Hons Photography. The bride was stunning as she walked down the aisle in a Lazaro dress while a string quartet played “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from the balcony above. For the bride, we designed an arrangement of deep, rich colors that were carried over into the simple, yet elegant bouquets carried by her bridesmaids. They went were the perfect accessory to the bridesmaid’s classic dresses from Lindy Bop, and showcasing the couple’s laid back style, the groom and his groomsmen wore Converse sneakers. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s aunt, who customized ending with “Until death or zombies do you part.”

 

 

Surrounded by votive candles and small globes of greenery, hot air balloon centerpieces provided by Basic Grey sat on aged, wooden crates, adding to the vintage feel of the courtyard reception. Red linen napkins and silver chairs added a pop of color to the lace covered tables.

To incorporate the bride’s love of zombies, she sought the help of UK artist, Phillip Haynes to create a one of a kind cake topper of the bride herself, the groom, and their kitties. The tiered wedding cake decorated by Publix Bakery combined their love of zombies and music by adding small pieces of broken records to the blood-splattered buttercream and an additional cake topper of Shaun of the Dead. The delicious cupcakes for the event were provided by Sweet! By Holly.

The couple’s goal to keep the ceremony itself short and sweet and devote as much time as possible to spending time with their friends and family was a flawless success, and the DJ, Jay Liquid, kept them dancing through the night with all of their favorite songs. He even made suggestions to match their style.

We were thrilled to be a part of Karina and Taylor’s special day. Adding to that thrill: this wedding was featured on Offbeat Bride! Thank you to everyone involved who made it possible.

Country Club of Orlando: Anna and Houston’s rehearsal dinner

 

 

We were honored to provide floral work for Anna and Houston’s wedding, PLUS we also designed the colorful centerpieces for their rehearsal dinner at Country Club of Orlando. It was a fabulous evening of toasts, tasty bites, dancing, and fun! So nice to see the couple let loose and de-stress before the big day!

Kristen Weaver Photography was there to make every moment a memory, and the entire evening was organized by Blush by Brandee Gaar. Special touches included a fantastic band, the The Buzzcatz, and a fun cake for the groom by Party Flavors Custom Cakes.

In contrast with the more soft, romantic palette of their wedding flowers, the rehearsal dinner was vibrant! We used bright pinks, greens, sherbet orange and purple to create arrangements for the dinner tables, cocktail tables, and guest book table. We used a large variety of flowers, from tulips to roses and everything in between.

What a fun evening! Congratulations, Anna and Houston. We loved being a part of your entire wedding weekend.
