Backyard New Year’s Eve Wedding

New Year’s Eve is always special, and there’s no better way to ring in the New Year than with a wedding! Kate and Josh are such a sweet couple, and their New Year’s Eve wedding will tug at our heartstrings for years to come!

Team James had the pleasure of designing the floral for Kate’s sister’s wedding a year ago, and it was an honor to be called back for another Devine wedding! Kate’s parents’ backyard made the ideal venue for such a beautiful day, with Weddings Unique bringing every detail together flawlessly, while Kristen Weaver worked magic with her camera lens, as usual!

The blush and white color scheme was soft in its elegance, allowing us to create the most lovely and romantic arrangements. The entire space had a backyard garden wedding atmosphere in the late afternoon, transitioning to an ethereal atmosphere during the nighttime ceremony with fairy lights gently lighting the night sky.

Kate made a stunning bride as she walked down the aisle, wearing a big smile and a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown as she carried her lush bridal bouquet. We lovingly created her bouquet with blush hydrangea, white peonies, and champagne roses throughout, with ranunculus blooms and blush rice floral. Dusty miller and clusters of seeded eucalyptus and Italian ruscus made for an elegant finish.

Kate’s bridesmaids looked stylish and beautiful, dressed in an assortment of beautiful gowns for a Gatsby-inspired touch. Their bouquets were truly striking against their gowns, crafted with blush hydrangea blooms with open cream and champagne roses throughout.

The floral throughout the ceremony was created with Kate’s vision in mind: magnolia foliage woven into stunning garlands accented with baby’s breath. Everything came together for a truly breathtaking ceremony at this New Year’s Eve wedding!

Joshua looked so proud and overjoyed throughout the entire day, and it was little wonder why! They made the most adorable couple, and it was a beautiful sight to see two souls so in love with one another.

Pretty soon, it was time to celebrate the newlyweds at the reception. Every detail was beautiful, with lovely white wooden round tables draped with stunning blush lace, topped with assorted gold mercury vessels holding lush arrangements created to match the bridesmaids’ bouquets.

All too soon, the evening came to an end, and it was time to bid our newlyweds farewell. Congratulations again, Kate and Joshua! Designing the floral for your New Year’s Eve wedding was an honor, and we wish you a long, happy life together!

Blush and Gold at the Country Club of Orlando: Alexandra and Sam

You can never go wrong with a blush and gold wedding, and Alexandra and Sam’s wedding at the Country Club of Orlando is proof of that! Of course, Blush by Brandee Gaar’s brilliant planning must have also had something to do with the whole event turning out flawless!

The blush and gold tones created the perfect romantic vibe, and we had such a great time creating the floral; the pure creamy white blooms we used just contrasted and complemented the warmth of the blush and gold beautifully!

Alexandra looked like a heroine out of a fairytale as she walked down the aisle towards a grinning Sam, with a blush in her cheeks and her dark hair in a half-up, half-down style, so it cascaded down her shoulders and stood out against the white of her dress.

Her bridal bouquet had been lovingly crafted with white hydrangea blooms and white lissianthus floral, with white ranunculus blooms and beautiful white and champagne garden roses, all accented with seeded eucalyptus foliage, Italian ruscus and cascading tangerine vine. The result was a truly lovely and unique bouquet, just perfect for Alexandra!

The couple’s faces glowed with joy as they exchanged vows, and the party began almost as soon as the ceremony ended. The ceremony was lovely, to be sure, but the reception turned out to be a party to remember! The room was elegantly and flawlessly decorated, with plenty of hints of gold throughout, and lush floral centerpieces that towered atop the tables!

At the end of the day, there was no doubt in anyone’s mind that this was a wedding that all of us would remember forever, but there truly was nothing more beautiful than seeing the smiles on our newlyweds’ faces and their joy at beginning the next chapter of their lives.

Country Club of Orlando: Anna and Houston’s rehearsal dinner

Kristen Weaver Photography, Lee James Floral Designs, Orlando weddings, couple

We were honored to provide floral work for Anna and Houston’s wedding, PLUS we also designed the colorful centerpieces for their rehearsal dinner at Country Club of Orlando. It was a fabulous evening of toasts, tasty bites, dancing, and fun! So nice to see the couple let loose and de-stress before the big day!

Kristen Weaver Photography was there to make every moment a memory, and the entire evening was organized by Blush by Brandee Gaar. Special touches included a fantastic band, the The Buzzcatz, and a fun cake for the groom by Party Flavors Custom Cakes.

In contrast with the more soft, romantic palette of their wedding flowers, the rehearsal dinner was vibrant! We used bright pinks, greens, sherbet orange and purple to create arrangements for the dinner tables, cocktail tables, and guest book table. We used a large variety of flowers, from tulips to roses and everything in between.

Grand Bohemian Hotel: The Heller Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Heller held their ceremony and reception at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Their pink, orange, and white color scheme made for some eye-catching floral decor accents, including the brides’s bouquet, consisted of soft pink, orange, and peach floral. Her bridesmaids had magenta and orange bouquets that added bright punch to the bridal party. Even the flower girls carried adorable magenta and orange pomanders.  Kathy Thomas Photography captured their eye-popping color in her photographs.

Our floral accents added a splash of color to the ceremony’s draped, white backdrop. Topping the altar was a white vase full of orange, pink, magenta, and green flowers and a few citrus fruits. The same color scheme lined the aisle and decorated the white resin chairs.

In the cocktail room, small bouquets lined the tables. Magenta flowers inside of rustic metal pots added a vintage flare. Square, clear vases filled with roses and lined with orange slices brought a creative feel.

The reception kept the same color scheme, but was bathed in a golden light, making everything feel more romantic. Tall, clear vases were crowned with purple, green, and orange flowers in addition to a few orange fruits tucked in. Round tables used the same colors, but a smaller centerpiece that featured orange fruits as well. Everyone enjoyed themselves that night and The Buzzcatz kept the fun atmosphere going with their jazzy music.
