We are thrilled to announce we were recently featured in Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine July/August 2015 Edition! We had a blast creating gorgeous floral pieces to accent this beautiful grand garden wedding inspiration photo shoot with touches of old-world class.

 

To bring this garden wedding inspiration to life, we designed a beautiful purple bridal bouquet with hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus and hints of greenery. They complemented the purple floral arch we designed for the ceremony scene perfectly. We also created a beautiful purple floral wreath tied with lucky horseshoes and purple ribbons.

We are thrilled to be featured on Every Last Detail for being a part of Madeline and Westin’s gorgeous coral and citrus wedding at Bella Collina. We loved working with Madeline, Westin, Madeline’s mother and Sandy, their wedding planner, to bring their vision to life.

Their Story

Bride: Anna Boyd, 23, account coordinator for Dodge Communications

Groom: Houston Hough, 26, research analyst for Equinox Inc.

How They Met: Through Anna’s brother

Wedding Style: Anna and Houston wove shades of mint and gold throughout their elegant Southern affair.

“I came across gold sequin dresses I fell in love with. Before I even asked my friends to be bridesmaids, I texted them asking for their dress sizes and ordered them immediately–praying they would all fit,” Anna says. “Thankfully they did, and they turned out gorgeous!”

 

Anna and Houston chose an all-white wedding cake finished with a cascade of sugar flowers and their monogram piped on the top tier. “It was delicious!” Anna says of the amaretto, marble and lemon confection. The bride wore a formfitting organza and lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and a crystal-embellished belt. “It was everything I wanted and more,” she says.

 

“I hate wearing heels, so I always knew I would wear flats,” says Anna. “My mother-in-law found me a pair of Kate Spade shoes with a blow on the toes that I loved!”

Maitland Art Center: Style Me Pretty Feature

We are thrilled to be featured on Style Me Pretty for one the most unique weddings we’ve played a part in. This wedding ceremony took place at the Maitland Art Center in Maitland, Florida and was followed by an intimate reception at 310 Lakeside Restaurant. The bride and groom celebrated their marriage with family and friends from across the world. They had guests from Japan, South Africa, Europe and Australia. Pietri Photography captured beautiful photographs from the day.

For the bridal bouquet we used a King Protea, the national flower of South Africa, and other South African favorites like gardenias and eucalyptus. We love that our bride chose to add gardenias to her bouquet to keep with family tradition–how special! Her David’s Bridal gown was simply gorgeous, and the texture of the lace looked lovely with the bold shapes of her florals. The traditional Catholic ceremony took place in the roofless chapel at the Maitland Art Center. Instead of communion the priest gave a homily which compared a pineapple to the sweetness of marriage. 

Can you believe this entire wedding cost under $10,000? The bride’s mother-in-law brought table linens from South Africa, and Orlando Wedding & Party Rentals provided chair rentals for the day. Sprinkles Custom Cakes designed a traditional South African fruit cake for the reception. DJ Scott Thompson of Thompson Entertainment provided entertainment for the reception–not to mention a surprise visit from Elvis!

Waldorf Astoria, Central Florida Bride Summer/Fall 2013 Feature

The Summer/Fall 2013 issue of Central Florida Bride features Lee James Floral Designs for Kathleen and Troy’s Waldorf Astoria Orlando wedding! Kelly Canova Photography captured beautiful images at the event planned by Just Marry. The special ceremony took place outside Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Ceremony music was played masterfully by harpist Christine MacPhail, and the ceremony was officiated by Reverend Kevin Knox. Bride Kathleen wore a dress from The Collection in Winter Park, Florida. Her bridesmaids wore dresses by Alfred Angelo, and they had hair and makeup by  About Face Design Team.

The reception was lighthearted and fun inside Waldorf Astoria Orlando with entertainment and lighting by White Rose Entertainment. Lee James Floral Design provided extravagant floral centerpieces with rich hues of purple, and A Chair Affair Rentals provided Chiavari chairs to bring the room  together. This wonderful wedding featured amazing vendors in the Orlando area. A special thanks to all of those who helped make Kathleen and Troy’s dream wedding a reality:
